Are we going to get pre-release video teasing with the SDS200 like we did with the SDS100?
FYI for those who want to be the very first in line for the new Uniden SDS200, Ham Radio Outlet is now accepting SDS200 reservations for $35 on a first come, first serve basis. They have posted "Approximately February/March 2019 Delivery" on their SDS200 reservation webpage: HAM RADIO OUTLET SDS200 RESERVATION
We know all of that is in the link in the 1st post of this thread. For what it's worth I found this while surfing the web, looks official. What say you Paul?

I attest that the receiver is incapable of tuning, or readily being altered, by the user to operate within the frequency bands allocated to the Domestic public Cellular Telecommunications Service in Part 22.2. The VCO is inside the microprocessor making it impossible to access. This chip contains the VCO, PLL and 1st mixer.a. Epoxy glue was added to the band pass filter as our previous scanner radiosb. The binary file is encrypted so user can’t disassemble.c. The program is in the flash memory of the microprocessor and the end User can’t read it without using the ID code and the souse code is not open to the public, so user can’t access and edit the firmware.3. It’s impossible for the end user to enter any frequency not specified in the frequency range specifications and if the end user attempts to enter a frequency out of the frequency range specifications the software ignores the entered frequency. Please contact the undersigned if you have any questions or need any further information.Manager, Regulatory and QA

This new Uniden scanner is expected to have similar features as the SDS100 plus some extra enhancements.
Yada Yada Yada....We all know you don't own it and you come here to make noise....Yada Yada YadaBIG statement right there! No money is leaving my wallet until I know what those 'extra - I am not an owner of the SDS100) is that Uniden rushed the SDS100 to market and now it is worthwhile to see what their competitor has learned and will offer.

That is more than likely just a placeholder model number. You can usually tell by the price it is usually something outrageous instead of putting TBA. I could very well be wrong but that is my guess.Today I ordered some items from HRO and saw this I took a screen shot of it. It says LK100 as the model.View attachment 67260View attachment 67260

If you find out what the SDS500 is, let me know so I know what to design.
It's that dual tuner, True-IQ, base scanner with bluetooth, wifi, and a 7 inch color touchscreen.

This 10K radio combats the encryption issues that we all have been encountering for the past few years now.
