I have a new one on me, I have had a frequency avoided for months on my radio and when I un-avoided it today that frequency now comes over my Proscan and also the radio at the same time only delayed over Proscan. It is the only frequency that comes through my scanner speaker. I cleared user data and reloaded my whole favorites list but to no avail. I use a Bose remote speaker to listen to the transmissions. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try power cycling the Bose remote speaker and computer.

Ok I figured it out I had that one frequency volume set at plus 3 in the software so even though the radio was turned down to 0 it was able to override the 0 setting by 3 if that makes sense and all the rest were quiet. Thanks for the suggestions it seems a lot of these problems can be dealt with simply and they just stare you in the face but you can't see it.

tnbound were headed to gatlinburg/pigeon forge this week...any good suggestions for scanning this area ?
I'm sorry I am in Middle Tennessee that is out of my listening range but there are many others on here that I'm sure will help you out shortly. Go to the Tennessee forum and post your question there for faster help. Tennessee Radio Discussion Forum also check the Database of that area here Sevier County, Tennessee (TN) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference and here Dollywood (Sevier County) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference. Dollywood seems to be NXDN so unless you have that optional add on in your scanner you won't receive them. Good luck and enjoy your stay!

I just relealized you had a SDS200 so you should be good to go with Dollywood.

You do know if your using the 200 with the Eithernet connection for ProScan, The audio thru the eithernet is not the audio on the scanner itself...
Yes you can control the audio volume coming from the scanner itself from the virtual display in ProScan...
The audio coming to your computer is controlled under the "Audio Control" tab in ProScan...

They are two different things... The audio thru the eithernet is independant of the 200's onboard audio... In other words, the scanners volume
control does not effect the volume in ProScan...

The SDS100 and 200 also require the optional paid upgrades if you want DMR, ProVoice and NXDN.
So the OP would still need the NXDN key installed if they wish to monitor Dollywood

Yes I knew that and that is what had me baffled.

The offset on a channels volume has no effect on when the squelch opens...

Some channels volume are not as loud as others... That just lets you increase or decrease the volume to match the others better...

The squelch was opening on the scanner first and a half second later on my Bose speaker. Once it opened the rest of my channels were set to default of 0 and the one I kept hearing was set to plus 3. So that was the only one I was hearing on both the radio and the Bose portable Bluetooth speaker.
