Sentinel update question

I was looking through the talk groups in my states (RI) P25 simulcast system and noticed about 7 or 8 NEW talk groups. I updated the master database but the new talk groups were not in there. I was just going to look for all the new TG's and append them to my FL. Not sure when these new TG's were created but in the RR database for this system all NEW TG's are hilighted with yellow background.

I would check again on Tuesday after the Database is updated.(Weekly)


So when you check the database on Tuesday, any changes should be there.

If that's the case, going off the users location on his profile, the talkgroups were added on last Monday - probably just missed the cut during the weeks update.

Yeah, looks like those changes were made on the 14th

Changes made after mid-day Sunday won't make it into Sentinel until a full week later.

So Sentinel doesn't have the updated information today?

The Uniden Update is not downloadable yet that happens about 1000 to 1030 Central Standard time Uniden starts its day 0900 from what I have read online.

When you download the new version from Uniden Monday... do you need to manually re-select favorites or will they autoupdate? i.e. I OKWIN P25 adds new talk group ID's let's say for OKCPD, do you need to re-select OKCPD or will your favorites list for OKCPD automatically update with the new download?

Favourite lists need manual updating.

I just updated the Sentinel database and all the TG's entered on the 14th are now there...just like @GTR8000 said they would be.
