Hello. I'm having some OCD problems with my scanner. I can't stop squeezing the sides of my PRO 97. The sides of the case creak and pop, mostly near the PC/IF jack. It makes me feel sad. I'm also constantly checking the LCD screen to ensure it is not going dim. I'm also checking the antenna to make sure its on good. I need help.

I know what you mean. When I get a new toy, I am paranoid about it staying safe and clean as well.
