Heavy Rains and Winds are expected to affect the area over the next couple of days. Some storm surge is also possible. Flash Flood Watches, Wind Advisories, and Coastal Flood Watches are up for portions of Maryland.

EXPECTED... WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO SIX INCHES POSSIBLE.

Wind's:
A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE QUICKLY NORTHWARD ALONG
THE APPALACHIANS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE
GUSTY WINDS DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY ALONG COASTAL LOCATIONS OF
SOUTHERN MARYLAND. SUSTAINED WINDS ALONG THE COAST WILL BE AROUND
20 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS OF 45 TO 50 MPH...ESPECIALLY IN
HEAVIER SHOWERS.
