Shooting 37th & Fontenelle Blvd

OPD is in foot chase with a suspect who just shot someone twice off of 37th & Fontenelle Blvd.

Abel1 is trying to look now for a black male, 5'6", red shirt, black pants.

Command40, along with two other cars have picked up some other suspects in and around the area.

Victim was shot at least twice, and the squad is taking them to UNMC.

3Adam52 and 3Adam54 are being reassigned to NorthEast to help with a large volume of calls holding.

Shooting Injures One
Police investigating

Omaha police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Saturday afternoon. It happened just after 4:30 near 35th and Fort Streets.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and police began searching nearby neighborhoods for a suspect.

That suspect was not found. Police are still investigating the incident.

Two suspects arrested in shooting

A male juvenile was taken to Nebraska Medical Center Saturday evening in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his left side.

Police were called to 5328 N. 35th St. about 4:45 p.m.

Omaha Police spokesman Andrew Passo said two suspects are in custody.

The victim's injuries appear to be non-life threatening, Passo said.
