The Italian office has excellent service and support. Even when they didn't sell a particular spare part that I wanted for an antenna build they took some from the production line and sent me and charged a symbolic sum. Hopefully the US store have inherited some of that great customer support policy.

I ordered the Sirio GP 108-136 LB/N VHF Aircraft Band 108-136mhz Base Antenna from Sirio US a month ago. Shipped that day or next AM and arrived a few days later with no problems. Impressed with their antennas, this VHF N connector version (available in UHF connector as LB/U) will go to KLZU or PDK soon but on a tripod in my back yard it performs very well. Won't be my last Sirio. Hope it goes well if you order.

I must agree they are quite well made and at a reasonable price. Got that one too, under the roof at the moment, but it will likely end up outside. Just bought one of their yagis but haven't tried it yet. Good to know they have a store but I can buy them trough Nevada here in the UK. Our company had a discone and that, too, looked OK. I don't like discones, too much opportunity for corrosion. They only last when made for military and then they have solid elements.

You can buy them right off Walmart's website with free shipping in most cases. I've been eyeballing a 430-450 UHF stick on there for a while, under 40 bucks with free shipping.
