Skiatook Pursuit, 5/18/07

Here's the video of the pursuit I got to ride in a couple months ago; I was about 4 cars back from the trooper. It actually started about 10300 N 52nd west ave and ended about 18600 N Highway 11. I think the top speed that was reached was 115mph.

Two questions about this pursuit.

1. Where were the stopsticks?
2. Why did K256 try to PIT the guy at lenapah and 20 in the intersection, looked like potential disaster if that 6500lb truck went out of control into all those cars. I mean I understand that he had a chance in which the vehicle was at a slower speed and the lanes were wide enough, I just dont understand the tactics involved there.
