Skip On 154.145 Sunday Night

Skip must have been GREAT last night! I was hearing Memphis And Tipton County On Our Radio's And Pagers here for our local FD's.. Frequency was 154.145 and I believe it was Tipton County. They were so clear I first thought it was here but it wasn't.. Skip opening must have been great!

Our Fire Dispatch is on 154.145 and we hear a certain county about 200 miles away.

That frequency used to be registered to Christian County,IL and nearly all fire department agencies and also an ambulance agency were dispatched on it. I was told that they were licensed by accident for a very high power transmitter. You could most nights, hear their dispatch nearly 100 miles away. I think the license expired or came up for renewal and the power was dropped.
