SLC PD Tac 3

This month I have noticed dispatch on the SLC PD Tac 3 talkgroup. I believe the chief talked about the SLC PD moving to three districts adding "Central" to the existing Liberty and Pioneer. Does anyone know if this is possibly going to be a third dispatch and not tac channel now?

So listening to this week it seems my assumptions are right... should we update the Db that these are actually called Pioneer, Liberty, and Central?

07:00 disp announced that Liberty and Central remain patched, Pioneer separate. All three were x-patched over night.

Update to Salt Lake City Public Safety Trunk System (AC33)

The following are recommended changes to the Salt Lake City Police talkgroups on the AC33 System.

TG - 704 SLCPD Liberty Police Dispatch East (Liberty)
TG - 736 SLCPD Pioneer Police Dispatch West (Pioneer)
TG - 1024 SLCPD Central Police Dispatch Central (Central)

This is based on the Police Chief's report during recent budget meetings and talkgroups verified over the last two weeks. This update would adjust the two currently listed dispatch channels to be in line with how they are used and add the new Central dispatch which replaces the old Tac 3 TG

Does anyone know how they "renumbered" the zone in the radios?

PD7 used to be 1024 TAC3.

1024 is now PD3, Central Dispatch.

I used to have:

736 PD1 Pioneer
704 PD2 Liberty
864 PD3 C2C
832 PD4 Service
896 PD5 Tac 1
928 PD6 Tac 2
1024 PD7 Tac 3
1056 PD8 Motor
1152 PD9 APB

I am not sure of any other changes other than Tac 3 becoming the Central Dispatch
