If all of Rutherford County EMS is paged out through the 158.805MHz and similar freqs, why is the license for Smyrna's CB Rescue still valid on 37.9MHz or ARE they paged out by the city separte from the county?

That is only a private channel they use. They are still paged out through Rutherford County EMS. But they no longer run Vehicle Extrication Calls. So you will barely here them on the air now.

37.90 is the state rescue squad frequency, yet Rutherford Rescue never used it, they had their own VHF Freq.
