Using the RTL-SDR.Com V3 dongle which software such as SDR#, Unitrunker, and/or DSD+ would be compatible?
Would like voice and also control channel info...any of them do both?
Any do DMR decode?
Thanks

DSDPlus will do DMR.
I don't know if sdrtrunk does I forget
But sdr# needs a program to output the voice data to because it only decodeds analog and fm.

I don't like sdrtrunk because it's a CPU hog. I rather log my dsdplus but it has a few down falls that are okay to deal with(mainly the tgrp recording)

There is Plugin for SDRSHARP that allow it to receive DMR But it only produce audio no data info
there is also software called openear that can receive also DMR Voice no data info
and also SDRTRUNK can decode DMR Voice with very limited data info

I didn't know about that openear program until now.
I looked it up and it was removed from github for "licensing issues".

openear

The software has been removed due to some license issues, I will try to fix it soon and reactivate the page

What are the tg recording downfalls that are you speaking of?
If you lockout the talkgroup, it doesn't record the audio. If you have it on normal, high or hold - you can't choose to not have it save audio.
It's either on for them all, exception of lockout, or none at all.

Ok, so... Why in the world would you expect a locked out talkgroup to record audio? If it's locked out... it's locked out!

I am using DSD+ (not Fastlane) with SDR# and have had lot of fun identifying things i find.
Not sure I understand all I know about it but it is working to my current expectations...I'm sure there is more.
Thanks
