This is not good at all, numerous units were dispatched to Station 33 at 7281 East Dry Creek on a GSW now medic 33 emergent to Littleton Hosp and Chief of the Dept being paged to the station.

I heard same traffic I was most intrested in how upset (warrented) the station call to dispatch was sounded tragic . I was curious of the self inflicted announcment at the start also. Im sure we will be reading something about this soon

South Metro PIO advises it was not a FF, lucky, but would not provide any additional details sounding like it was a drive in to the station.

Thx Jim, I was beginning to wonder when none of the news agencies picked it up.

Finally showed up in the Post... a UAL pilot, forced to retire because he turned 60, killed himself on retirement day.
Sad, indeed.
