Listening to a Family Violance call turning into a Stand-off possible Hostage situation and Suicide threats, Incident is on MPD-1 (Closed Channel) on Rush Creek Dr. Started as a Man with a Shotgun, RP reporting he has taken his kids against their will. As Police arrived the Male stated he would kill himself or any who tried to approach. McKinney PD requested Negotiators. Whoops, Now MPD is Demanding the Negotiator Code-3.

Sounds like McKinney PD SWAT are moving into position, Patrol-1 is still closed. But officer Movement sounds suspicious (Like TAC moving around) Hard to hear who all is inside the home, Possibly a female, but definatly the Suspect.
Negotiators are confirming they have the suspect on the phone and are talking to him now.

Hello MaxTracker, any updates from the scanners on this incident? I live just down the street from where this is taking place and you appaently know more than I do. THe police have the entire residential street blocked off (ambulance is standing by outside the blockade).
McKinney PD Stand-off update
Seems MPD is pulling off Primary perimiter officers and replacing them with Tactical personel. the incident at this point in time is operating on MPD-1 TGID 00048. Patrol-2 is acting as Dispatch. TLETS is acting as TLETS and Talk.
Suspect seems to be alone, however it is unclear if all of the children made it out or if he also holds a hostage. Negotiators have spoken with him all morning with no surrender.
SWAT is being Designated as "Siera" units. Negotiators are keeping up dialog, however it seems he is breaking apart - breaking off communications from time to time. He has called his neighbors and spoke with some of them however I believe now MPD has secured the landline to Police Only.
