start up problems

hello everyone, when i turn on my pro 96, the screen says "dsp load, pc/if port, flash mem". also, all the frequencies in the v folders are gone. the state abbrevations are distorted. can anyone please help???? thank you

Have you checked your PC/IF jack? Stuck open or closed?
Did you try to reset the scanner?Theres a hole on the left side panel above the power jack insert a paperclip into it press gently then release.
Did you try to Initialze it ? turn scanner off then on then while in "welcome mode" press 0 then press 1 then enter.
or page 113 of the pro96 booklet.

reset scanner no loss of info.
initialize it you lose all channels programed.
V folder unharmed in both cases
