Static feed

I have been providing the Sussex County Delaware fire feed for a while now. I am using a sds200, the feed seems to have a little static. Any suggestions on how to clear the static up.

An isolation transformer will fix that.

I use a SNOM model.

Just search radio reference for "ground loop"

I listened to your feed for about half an hour, didn't hear anything that sounded like a ground-loop or static. Do you have any specific instances recorded?

I don't have it recorded but it happens every now and again

That might be signal path into your scanner, or something prior to the computer if it's intermittent. I'd hate to see you chasing a problem, and throwing money at things (albeit inexpensive) that don't get you the resolution you are hoping for.

As I heard it , it sounds pretty darn good right earlier tonite.
