is there anyone here who can give a list of the frequncies used at stewart air national guard base. i am planning to do some plane spotting there tommorow. i love watching those c-5 galaxies take off. what a plane!!!
i would really appreciate any help thanks

Here are the frequencies for Stewart that were in an article in the 7-8/06 issue of National Communications magazine.Aeronautical Operations: 38.20 & 49.75 army field ops. Tower VHF 121.000, Ground 121.900, .Unicom 122.950,ATIS 124.575, Army Air field ops126.200, NY approach/departure132.750, Army Air field ops 139.100, Tower UHF 254.400 ,Army Air Field ops 321.700, 105th (N.Y.A.N.G)AW Command post 361.400, 105th AW Operations 379.400. STEWART SUPPORT OPERATIONS: Military Police 141.000, Command Post 148.050,148.925, Maint.Ops 149.150, Fire/Crash 149.175, Base Ops. 149.275,149.350, Maint.Ops 149.475. Security 149.575 149.800.
Stewart Airport is owned by NY state It is also a sub-post of the US Military Academy,West Point. NY State Police(troop F) are in charge of security on the commercial side of the airport Hope you enjoy your visit. If you discover any additional frequencies, please let me know.

Most of those frequencies are for West Point USMA, which is now operating a VHF P25 trunked system. Fewer of those other channels are active all the time.

When the Air Guard fire goes off base on M/A calls, they operate on the normal Orange County fire or Newburgh channels.
