I just found out while watching the AirVenture airshow that Dick Cole's burial at ANC will be next April 17. Scheduled then due to April 18, 1942 being the date of the Doolittle Raid and they don't do funerals on Saturday. I hope the four B-25s at AirVenture now show up.

Interesting address for sure. It is in one of my hex hole blocks. AE66BC has been IDed as USN P-8A. Nothing on AE66BD/AE66BF. AE66C0 has been IDed as a USAF C-146 (11-3013). My best guess would be a USN P-8, but I can't give a good reason to fly circles around HGR unless they were doing some sort of equipment checks with a ground station. Chief

There was an earlier discussion on this thread regarding AR routes. Ron posted a partial list of the AR random freqs that I originally published in my MT Milcom column in 2011. I have since updated that list and republished that in my March 2018 TSM Milcom column. For those here who are not subscribers, here is that expanded list. Most everything else I have seen posted on the net regarding random and coronet mission AR freqs is long out of date and do not take into account the 2004/2006 UHF band plan shuffle.

On Tape sounded like climbing up out of Atlantic City HELL-31..
Lets see, the 177th FW has callsigns DEVIL,SATAN,SPAWN and now HELL?
Jersey Devils for sure :)

Meanwhile in the skies over DC..
Devil, Satan and Hell were in Duke MOA yesterday.

Sierra Nevada Corp

SNC has a facility at HGR airport that has military contracts. For the last several years P-3's (usually) out of PAX circle my local area overnight centered on HGR.

1243 EDT-- Looks like E-6 swap out underway. Around 1220 EDT ADS-B showed E-6 #162387 (Rine 41) departing Pax River and heading west. Around 1240 EDT ADS-B showed E-6 # 162782 (Harpo 40) coming from the west heading towards Pax River.

1330Z Looks like another E-6 headed to Pax River. ADS-B showing E-6 # 163918 coming from the south heading for Pax River. He's showing callsign Harpo 40. I got my E-6s confused. E-6 # 162782 finally showing callsign Iola 93.

12:47pm local LION-13 flight of 2 at FL17k with KORREY4 arrival... Likley inbound LaGuardia with that arrival.
Should be F/18F's from VFA-213 "Blacklions" from Oceana NAS.

Around 1400 local, 2 fighters were spotted over the jersey Shore headed south. Might have been the 2 F/A-18s. Only comms I caught was
RHINO 50 arriving at Lakehurst full stop. RHINO comes back to VF-31, CVW-14, NAS OCEANA VA

Rgr Tech checking tape heard them again at 13:48pm at FL180..
Guessing they do KORRREY4 arrival as just a northbound ATC controlled sightseeing route then rtb
without actually landing at LaGuardia :)

C-5 86-0015 FRED225 arrived at Oshkosh not long ago. It's pulled off at the show center area and now the fire crew is responding for some reason.

Some intended departures just got screwed over because of whatever was going on. Airport shuts down at 8pm Central. Tower said they'll be set up with parking and camping.

Also heard a TURBO91 flight that had arrived from CA. I saw a couple F-18s pulling in at the time.
