The one this afternoon I'm pretty sure was a 135. 4 engines on the wings. Didn't see the engine in the fat tail. I was too slow to get a picture.

Anyone catch ABCNews tonight? Martha Raddatz reporting from Jordan. She spoke about America's secret bombers and they showed a KC-135!

They then put up a closer shot of her looking into what looked like a b-52 bomb bay and talking about stealth cruise missiles. They were obviously not cruise missiles but a bunch of iron bombs.

Also, the Warren Grove range has been busy the last 3 nights. A lot of RAVEN flights.

I did a search and did not see this mentioned elsewhere.

Apparently the Bollen Range at Indiantown Gap in PA has changed its primary/secondary UHF air freqs. Earlier this year, a post was made to the PA Military Monitors Yahoo group indicating that these two freqs are now in use:

Primary 233.450 was 237.200
Secondary 239.150 was 273.200

I just came across this post in the last month and only just started to monitor them, so I cannot say if they've been active much this year or not.

Even if the words spoken on a newscast are accurate, the video often is not. They grab what they can when they can and are often distracted by easy shots of something they think will look good on TV. I know this from personal experience doing interviews with TV crews for work. Once, I had to tell the cameraman he was filming something completely unrelated to what I was talking about and that they should not use the footage or it would confuse people.

Hey Freq, do you have any frequencies for this helo activity? You can send me a PM if you like. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch. Yea, their signals have to get across the south end of Sleepy Creek Mtn. But I am getting lots of VHF traffic so we'll see.

I hate to be that guy, but does anyone have a P97 file for VHF/UHF air in the mid-atlantic area?

I used to use my PRO-97 solely for aircraft monitoring. A while back, the laptop containing the Win97 software died...not a big deal, just download the software to new computer and enter the keys and voila...except that when I powered up the Pro-97 to copy the memory to the new computer I discovered the memory was somehow wiped from the scanner. Sigh.

This leaves me with having to rebuild everything by hand...something I lack the free time to do at this point. I had VHF/UHF AM, VHF Lo and Hi FM freqs for ZNY, ZDC, KMDT/KCXY, KMUI/Bollen, KWRI, KACY, KDOV, KABE, NORAD, as well as a ton of tacticals for units operating from these facilities and bases further south in the DC area (Pax River, Andrews, etc).

What a complete pain. I've actually been meaning to work on this for the better part of this year and have not found the time, yet. I miss the occasional milar monitoring I did. I've added in a few select freqs to other scanners I have with me more often just to keep an ear to a few things.
