Continental Plastics Company on fire in Chesterfield

Chesterfield Township firefighters are battling a fire at Continental Plastics Company, 27295 Luckino Drive. It is just off 21 Mile Road less than a mile east of Interstate 94.
The fire appears to have burned phone lines because all 911 calls to Chesterfield police and fire has been rerouted to the Macomb County Sheriff Department , a dispatcher with Richmond Police and Fire said. The Chesterfield police department is located on Continental Drive near the plastics company.
The cause of the fire or if anyone was injured is unknown at this time.
