Styker static high power meter

Hello Im having issues with my styker sr-447hpc2. It send and receives transmission however the power meter stays pegged at least 3/4 of the way up the meter and the static doesn’t go away until you are 3/4 or father up the squelch. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated

It's more likely to be RFI or RF gain set too high than a problem with the radio.

I was able to adjust the static out by lowering the rf gain. So the two cbs (a galaxy and cobra) I had before my styker I would run the rf and mic gain full blast and adjust the static out with the squelch it would only take about a 1/4 of the squelch knob to adjust out the static. So I guess my question is does it matter which way you adjust the static out.

If you can find the source of the static and eliminate it (unplugging a bad USB wall wart, etc), thats the best option.
