If the new system starts moving to Phase 2, that scanner won't work. If you are in an area where you are going to receive two transmitter locations on the p25 system, that scanner may not work well for you. (look up simulcast)

Other than that, if you can get this radio for a great price, then I'd say go for it. I have the PRO-106 (the cousin to this) and the WS-1065 (mobile version) and use them in Nassau with little issues.

I have the bc175at for analog and it works great!And use my scanner app to listen to pd!Just wish I can get one scanner for everything?
