Super Track?

For the life of me, I can't understand why I'm not getting this. Maybe someone else can help me out. It seems like it should be simple, but I only stay confused with the bits of info I'm picking up on the net. It seems super track is a software thing, but when is it a factor? Does it apply to conventional objects, or only talkgroups? Is there any affect on performance? Info is appreciated.

The way I understand it, it is an alternative algorithm for P25 adjustment. You should try it on and off, on digital systems to see if your system sounds better with either setting.
