I just received my BCD 436HP back from the battery mod. It took a week from the time it left my house until I received it back. They received it last Monday, repaired it, shipped it back to me on Wednesday, and it arrived today. Repair seems to be working OK, I turned it off for over an hour and battery was still OK. I am really wondering whether the DMR upgrade is worth it, since everything here in Pittsburgh is still using the analog systems. The long. and lat. says there are 79 channels here in my area, but the set up seems complicated. Anybody out there having a measure of success with the upgrade?
