the old system used to be cypress & nekaneet repeaters. we went & got digital scanners when we could no longer hear them. they are unidens.what freq. or channels to we use for the new system? thanks for any help

I assume you mean the Sask. RCMP network. The new digital trunked system is in the 138-144 MHz range. Try searching the 138-140 MHz range looking for the control channel. It will be a continuous data stream, the scanner should find that right away. You'll have to keep searching for the voice channels, as they are used. That might take a little longer. There will be at least 2 or 3 voice channels, but likely not more than that in your part of the province.
