In the Interop section, I heard talkgroup 1559 for the first time. Will someone clue me in on what PSAP stand for, i cant figure it out.

Public Safety Answering Point. Fancy name for a 9-1-1 Center.

Yep. Used frequently for interagency comms as it is usually faster than telephone and is dispatch to dispatch. bypassing phones.

It is the Modern Version of what used to be called Intercity 155.370 for City A to talk to City B.

And if your really sneaky you have a TG that only the wireline consoles have, so it's not broadcast on any RF resource.

It's used for dispatch to dispatch but most of the time we use it to call THP to notify them of traffic issues or accidents.
