I was listening last night and a couple of the Fort Lupton officers said lets go to the car to car ch does anybody know what this one might be or did I just miss something from the database, I have all the tac chs programmed in, but I didn't hear anything off of those when they were talking last night.

I might need to put my radio on a search, but I'm not sure what I would be looking for, I guess more use of the ear or I just had a thought, I'll put just the frequency for the tower around here into a system and put it into a search and see what happens.

they probably still have the old city radios on board, try doing a search in the 158/159's? vhf

159.255 was their old PD channel. Also the F.D. will show up on 154.235 now and then.

Along similar lines Windsor PD uses 153.905 and Eaton PD uses 453.725 for various in department comm.

I'll try those 2 I also programed in their old UHF Frequencies, 451.4375 and 451.4375 just to see what happens, I'll let you guys know if I hear anything off those.

Ok on the 451.4375 frequency I get about a 1000k tone with cherps here in Lupton, I get the same on 451.4375 up in Greeley, whatever that means or is used for these days. Still havn't heard anything on the VHF frequency yet.

Sounds like you might be hearing SCADA related to oil and gas production. It could be coming from the frequency on either side of .4375 or the splinter itself.
