I picked up a Talkpod for giggles and for a toss in the glovebox HT i'm pretty happy with the capabilities. However, I have found something thats driving me UP THE WALL. Something I haven't seen discussed yet or at least fixed where i could duplicate it on my HT.
It has to do with the two displayed "Channels" Call them A and B.
When the radio is on and the two channels are displayed the "Main" icon illuminates with the Channel that will be transmitted on with the PTT depressed. However Main is on A, and B channel receives a transmission it switches to B channel and when you PTT it now tx on B instead of A. Pressing the A/B button does the same thing but its a conscious act and you know what your tx on. It also rears its head when you are trying to scroll up or down on A or B and the non selected channel flips over to the other and now your scrolling up or down on the wrong thing. Same with settings if your in the menu and trying to adjust something any rx will snap it out and your scrolling thorough channels again.
Anybody have a setting or idea of what to try next
ive tried tdr off, it takes away the dual watch function and if you want to hear whats going on you have t manual move the main icon with the A/B button. The tx A/B doesnt seem to effect anything with mine with regards to this issue.
