I live in the Detroit area and I would like to say thank you to the families for allowing these great men to give themselves to us all. Most folks take what our LEO's do for granted. HCSO appears to be controling radio traffic for the serch on 3-155. I can only hear the base, not the units or command that they are talking too. I have been searching the system. Doesnt seem to be on the 15- TGs anymore.

Comms

Comms were great yesterday on the Countywide E. patch but things have really slowed down today. Not much activity being heard on that channel now. I think the cops are trying to keep things as quiet as possible to have a better chance of catching the shooter.

I think its a smart move for LE but it sucks for us. Hope they catch the guy!

A Chicago PD detective has reported on his blog that "The family of a convict charged with killing two Tampa police officers asked that he be allowed to turn himself in safely as a massive manhunt continues." and "A pastor for Morris’ family said they do not condone his actions."

Sounds to me like his surrender may be pending.
