if anyone was wondering why the ts2 server was off last night or what lightning will do to a cx-333 ham ant.yesturdays thunderstorm was the reason.its back up now

4 years ago my sailboat mast was struck by lightning. The marine-band VHF antenna whip was completely blown off its mount, and an aluminum "windex" (weather vane) melted into an unrecognizable blob.

Hope the rest of your equipment survived unscathed!

yes it did,the polyphaser saved everything.
