ADAMS COUNTY – Deputies are investigating a Wednesday night shooting which left a teenager dead.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says at roughly 9:45 p.m. they received a call of a shooting in the area of West 76th Avenue and Turner Drive which is in unincorporated Adams County.
The 15-year-old boy was found at the scene with the gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital but later died. Deputies are trying to piece together the course of events and a possible motive.
They say they are looking for a dark-colored pick-up truck with dark-tinted windows. Deputies also say they believe at least two people were inside the truck at the time of the shooting.
