• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

Would you like some Preparation H? Certainly sounds like your butt hurts lol. I usually do not weigh in on these kind of discussions, but you just made it too easy. It is so obvious that the thought of the public not bowing before your perceived authority is a terrible blow to your ego. Yet you wonder why people do not trust the police.

Right on-lol

OH BTW,

When you list the location of "speed traps" you are actually helping accomplish the goal of public safety. By "burning" the cop you are telling those who read your warning they should slow down going through the area. So the more that see your warning the fewer people speed through the area. Keep up the good work!

You Don't Trust the Police

You don't trust the police because you are of the criminal, law breaking element type. You see most NORMAL folks go through life not worrying about the police or not doing things to have the police involved in their lives. Most NORMAL folks who get stopped for breaking the law may not like it but accept the responsibility and accept the consequences. It is clear you are neither of these. Oh and one more thing, most NORMAL folks don't reference themselves as REDNECK and wear it like some badge of honor. Just saying and you have a nice day. lol

You are obviously a troll. And it is nice to know that you can tell so much about a person you have never met based upon a few words on a computer screen. Makes me wonder why someone so brilliant has to stroke their ego on the internet. Crawl back under your bridge.

My my

Who's panties are in a bunch now? LOL Keep the prep h for yourself. What was that part about someone making it too easy so you just hand to comment? Who made it easy for whom? You should read your first comment then think about how easy it was for me to get you to engage over a mere opinion. Then again you can't be that bright with REDNECK in your name. Sorry I offended you with truth. Take care or keep dancing for me my puppet.

You over value yourself. There is nothing about you important enough to get me worked up. And yes, I am proud to be a redneck, and I really do not give a rats *** what you think about it.
