First, I did a quick search and could not find a Denton, Utah. If you would, Stephen, give me an idea as to where that is? I am new in the state and haven't learned all the places around here. Second, we agreed a while ago to place new, unknown, Talk Groups in their own thread. That way it would be easier to follow each TG from start to finish.

I have it listed as UDOT but I am not sure what area or shed...

It is in the DOT range. Site for these hits would be Site 2 and 3. I haven't broken my listing up by Site, just by system.

Back to Stephen, I re-read your question, and I'm not sure I understand. Are you asking why we are posting Talkgroups on a local Trunking System, or are you asking why we are using RadioReference forum to post these?

I wouldn't worry about him too much, gldavis and enosjones. This is just another "visitor" trying to muck up our Utah forum. I sent him a PM immediately after his post to explain what we are doing. It does say something, though, because I asked for an acknowledgment that he received the PM and I have never gotten one.

gldavis, you are right because there is no Denton in Utah.

TG 42272 is UDOT Reg 1 Shop.

We mapped these UDOT TG's right from a DOT truck radio a couple years ago. I assume they are still valid.
