Been listening to this most of the day, not a very busy TG. Finally got some conversation on it. As suspected, because of TG placement, it is Springville.

All I hear on it is are pages. They keep calling 4J103, 4J104, & 4J105 to, "Code 19 for citizen advisement." Never get any answers/responses.

Anyone familiar with their callsign arrangements?

Junoir1970 (or Other Long Time Utah Co. Listeners) have you ever happened to notice Springville's PD or FD callsigns? Are they like most of the Utah County jurisdictions and only 2 digits for PD? The 3 digit 100 stuff did not seem like PD, more adminstrative.

Springville calls their PD units "Unit xx." Obviously Unit 1 would be the chief on down.

Springville Fire recently started calling their engine and ambulance units "Engine 41" "Ambulance 41" etc mimicing County Fire's fairly recent renumbering of the stations they dispatch. It's fairly simple" 4J, Station 40; 6J, Station 60 (Spanish Fork); 25J, Station 250 (Eagle Mountain), etc. If/when the day Utah County goes to a countywide dispatch center you will see places like Orem and Provo use a "Station 30 and Station 20" format hence they are 3J and 2J respectively.

When Springville PD goes over to another channel, say UHP South they would identify with: "Salt Lake 4J1 or 4J101" otherwise they are just 'Unit 1" on their channel. Pleasant Grove does the same thing as does Orem and Provo.
