Tg 9500

Does anyone know what DTRS TG 9500 might be? It's not in the DB. Heard some LE traffic on it from Site 170 (Auraria) this afternoon while downtown, but signal meter (996T) was only at about 50%. Side question: Does 700Mhz propigate better than 800? Just curious.

The Auraria site does not have a very large signal footprint to begin with.

The Adams county 700 "simulcast" sites fade in and out up here so it is susceptible to atmospheric conditions just like 800 MHz.

No idea who's on 9500. Listen for references for towns or state highways to get an idea of where this TG may serve.

Jim's got it. Don't know where the Auraria PD info in the DB came from . . . I've had 9500 in my radio as AHEC PD since that 700 site popped up.
