  • Tuner - MFJ Versa Tuner II
  • Power supply - Astron 30 amp
  • 2 Meter hand held - Yaesu VX-170
  • 144/440 Hand held - Alinco DJ-596 MK-II

  • and of course the GRE PSR-600

And various other receivers/transmitters residing in storage.

The IC-718 is totally controlled via computer.

Nice and cleaning shack, like the 718 own one myself great rig what antenna are you using?

Using a random wire can invite RF problems all over the place unless you're well grounded, or using a good network of radials (or sometimes both). How are you keeping RF out of the shack? Curious....

Thanks.

I built a frame with 1" X 1/4" wood (From Home Depot, I believe it is used to trim wood screen doors) and then bent and held it in place with monofilment fishing line. The map is glued to the frame with rubber cement.

Thanks for the great idea! I have a large kenwood map that size I could do this with. :)
