I'm taking a trip back to my home town area, Sonoma County, and I was just wondering what I might want to pay attention to to get the most out of my radio. I'm taking my UHF with me but no scanners so I'll only be able to hear the 450 stuff. Ive got everything UHF from the Sonoma County DB Programmed in - Don't worry, its all RX only of course. But where is most of the action going to be? Its going to be a weekend trip so its probably going more busy than normal. Should I focus on the Sheriff stuff or Santa Rosa or what? Ive only been back home once with an actual scanner but that was like 2 years ago...

Alright thanks, Im in the area now. No go on the VHF stuff though.

Sidenote - Why is SCSO DISP 1 listed as 88.5? I programmed that into my radio before I left and it won't come through. I have to run it in PL Disable. Can anyone else confirm it is still 131.8?

Just listen to Sheriff 1 and yes Pl is still 131.8
