November 8, 2010 On Monday, November 8, stations 52, 53, 55, and Medic 91 were dispatched to the Lukoil at Rt. 202 and Rt. 926 in Thornbury Township for a reported accident involving fire. In less than 2 minutes Engine 52-1 and Tanker 52 responded from the station along with Rescue 53, Ambulance 55-2, Meidc 91-3 and Medic 91-2, Chief 52, and Assistant 52. Initial reports stated that a vehicle had crashed into a gas pump and started a fire with one victim out of the vehicle on the ground. Upon the arrival of Rescue 53 and Engine 52-1 it was found that the was one vehicle with the engine compartment well off and one gas pump well off. The vehicle was found to have no occupants and the fire was quickly extinguished by the crews from stations 52 and 53. All WCFD and EMS units cleared in about one hour.
