Thanks, Keep us updated! I'm gettng tired of the "someone went through the door and didn't shut it" traffic I hear out there.

Will this be a multi-agency operation? Any more information on freqs or operations would be great so I can run to my parents house and get the digi if need be.

This mock disaster will involve an F-16 that collides with a Southwest Airline 737. Not sure on the number of passengers. What develops during the scenario is yet to be seen? Provided the weather holds out mainly the ground to cloud lighting. That will cancel it more than likely.
Some of the players probably will be
TFD –Airport trucks, Hazmat Team, Technical Recue Team
TPD, EMSA, SW Airlines teams, Red Cross, Salvation Army, ANG, TIA, FAA
Area Hospitals will be testing their ability to handle an MCI, The MERC system
May even be Ham Radio operators involved.

If someone records it I would like to get a copy.

Sounds like it would be just a bad plane crash until you listed all of those agencies. That's where the REAL "mock disaster" will come into play.

An F-16 that collides with an airliner huh? Mid-air? I would think that would be hard to survive. Maybe they're planning on debris falling all over an urban area? Lots of variables as to what kind the scenario planners will come up with.

At any rate, that last group that you mentioned well....I beat you to it Phil!

My Dad's friend will be participating with the ANG. He said usually these things involve a F16 vs. a 737 which lands on a school bus which is ran into by a tanker carrying 160+bbls of chlorine

How about the 737 crashing into the Walmart instead
