It's come a little way since this photo...

It's also a lot more cluttered now. I'm working on getting ready for november sweeps, so MAYBE by then it'll be cleaned up enough for abnother photo!

I made the top out of whiteboard (showeboard) - works great for taking quick notes during a QSO or working on a project...now if only i could keep track of my markers!!

Looking good except for that shelf with the level on it. That bubble looks to be a little off!!

With a tripod you can use a slower shutter speed. That's let you turn down the ISO so you can get rid of all that noise.

the room is too small for a tripod (well, too small to get the wide angle you see using a tripod....)

plus it's a digital camera, so i'm a little limited on shutter speed.

Once opening weekend for deer in MO is over, and sweeps is donme, i should have some time to take some real pics.... also to finish some of the small projects.

I still have coax to run
grouinds to run
antennas to put up,

the usual.... :D

I love the whiteboard desk top - I'm getting ready to redo my home office, think I'll steal that idea...

That's why i'm sharing it! It looks clean, and it works well. you can even use permanent marker on it, so long as you use alcohol to wipe it off (YMMV)

Looks like he's got a Heathkit SB-220 or SB-221 Amplifier, and the SB-610 Scope beside it. No doubt they are attached to that nice looking Yaesu FT-1000MP. He must either be a DX'er or a Contester. I myself happen to be both as a member of Magnolia DX Association.
My only Heath rig is the HotWater-8 five band CW QRP rig.

Nice station you have there. :)

the whiteboard came from lowes or home depot. It's sold by the panelling as either "showerboard" or "tileboard".

Nexus - you are right. I am a contestor, or aspire to be again...

It's an SB221 with the 10 M add-on (so it's really an SB220, now).

The rabbit ears are actually for the hallicrafters receiver.... the scanner has only the unidn back-of-set antenna at the moment....
