can you confirm for me the length of this antenna fully extended?
Scanner Master specs it out to 16" extended but for it to be optimally tuned for the vhf air band, it would need to be about 22".
Still, I read in the forums that it performs well for vhf air but would like to know if that's a typo on SM. Please confirm.
I'm also looking at this Maldol telescoping antenna that I know for sure extends past 22" but I don't particularly care for it's looks and the $10 added cost.
