Tornado Touchdown In St. Clair County

A viscious tornado has apparently torn through the Fort Trodd Campgrounds located in western St. Clair County, just moments ago. Preliminary reports indicate there are many people injured at that location. The storm is now moving through the Port Huron area.

Channel 7 News states more than one fatal and many injuries .WDIV Chanel 4 says 4 fatal they are on talk group 2748 and stiil talking about diving

Back down to 1 fatal, 4 non-life threatening injuries. Tornado confirmed along the Wayne/Monroe Co line, NWS won't be up to the campground until tomorrow to look at that damage.

Divers are continuing search today. People have to wait to get in to gather whatever is left.

Seen the funnel from my house. NWS confirmed it as a tornado today.
