Hi Everyone,

I know that there are two talkgroups listed in the database on the Toronto Public Safety System for Corporate Security.

Does this include city hall, the reason I ask is I saw a tone of security guards walking around ALL carrying ht1250LS+ radios, which are LTR radios. And it was city hall security, not another company.

Any ideas?

No, the City Hall guys are on a UHF LTR system, as you know.

Corporate Security guys take care of Parks, Waterworks and that kind of thing. You can tell who does what by their callsign. Parks guys start with P, Water starts with W etc...

do you know who's system?

i've checked mobile, kelcom, and lakeshore and non of them seem to have it.

I would imagine it is their own system. Given the unique layout of City Hall, I can't imagine a system located elsewhere would work all that great. You can't get a signal from in the parking garage at all, so... It's more than likely their own. Close Call anyone?

The radios are from Mobile comms on their LTR, for special events, regular security uses a repeater, not a trunk with p1225 radios and ht750 radios.
