can someone help i have a bcd996xt programing the toronto public do i use the perset 1-16 or the custom size code 0-7 any help thanks alot

Those settings are for Motorola Type I trunking.... you want to make sure your system is set to Type II trunking. Actually, I see you are a premium subscriber. Why not grab yourself a copy of FreeScan and just download the system from the database. Then you will have it all laid out in front of you and you can much more easily tweak it to your liking.

Ok, that should work too. Just download the systems you want and go from there.
