i joined this site to help a friend upgrade there software from a trial version to a full version they have a pro-96 radio shack older retired couple i'm just trying to help them out

What software are you trying to upgrade? It's up to the owner of the software to do the upgrade at the distributor's site, usually. Is it Win96 or ARC96?

they bought a usb cable it came with a trial version that is only good for a week i clicked on a upgrade link and it brought me here , i joined the site and am just trying to upgrade there software and program there radio for wash, co. sounds like it should be simple enough but the site navigation on here is confusing
