Is there a tower near 91st and Yale? Between Yale and Sheridan 6010 E 91ST

I believe there is but what is unusual is when I am in the area reception is poor for some reason…

If you are too close to the tower, does this paradoxically decrease reception?

I have had nearby 800 Mhz towers signals overload my receiver listening to Norman's radio systems. I put a less efficient antenna on my scanner and the signal got better.
