+1 on avoiding if possible. I have found issues with Hex values and just the general navigation of the software. There does not appear to be an "expert view" at all. Currently on the second iteration of CPS2.0. However, new XPR7550e handhelds require CPS2.0 to program, while earlier firmware version could use CPS2.0 or CPS16, at least build 827. Stick with CPS16 if you do not need it for your radio. I was able to test an older XPR6550, and could use both CPS16, then CPS2.0, and then go back to using CPS16, but the file icon defaults to CPS2.0 after using it once.
