My guess is that when the user was transmitting he/she was in a "good spot" and then while driving, moved to a "bad spot". Or like celluar signals the transmision was handed to another tower?
I am a mile or less from the transmitter at Netcong station, and I have "drop outs" from time to time. The system has been around since the 80's, upgraded or not, i don't think the whole system has been upgraded.
Don't forget, this is NJ, we do things 2-3 or 4 times before we get it right, and that costs $$$.

I use an Disconne on one of my scanners and its very weak and a Scantenna on another and its also week as well as on my portables.

res5cue said:actually res148cue they have given me new information. so please just hush when you dont know what you are talking about. thank you.
res148cue said:Even I could have said that the NJSP has been having issues with the system with a 50% chance of being right or wrong. Probably the former.
