As sad as it is to say, I suspected this might happen after seeing the pictures of that dump truck caving in the entire drivers side.

Also, the trooper (Capt.) was close to retirement and I also understand that they are close to putting a light in at that uncontrolled intersection. Sad day.

Haven't seen any pictures, it truly is sad to have been close to retiring and then to have this happen.

A work colleague was there just as the first Sapulpa PD officer was arriving. He said it looked really bad. I was headed down Hwy 97 to a meeting in Sapulpa at the time but was detoured around the scene. When I read that extrication was required, I thought it may be worse than what was originally reported.

My wife has complained since we moved here about that exit needing traffic controls. It is horrible that these lights are close to being complete when this collision occurs.
