Tropical Storm Isaias Preps in NC

Storm preps underway, hear EOC doing regular check ins on VIPER SWCALL (52255) EOC reporting to local counties/cities they will be updating storm reports on this TG. Also hearing VIPER COML (51551) being used talking about distributions of comm equipment.

Additionally, OSFM is utilizing Viper statewide event channel CHARLEY 1 (51963) with various county and EOC units.

Don't forget to check the VIPER RID Wiki page for Coast Guard and National Guard helo info as well as RID/UID of county and state units on Viper.

Hearing Duplin County EOC on Duplin Tac 4 (16019) also hearing radio checks on Viper COML.

Overnight, and continuing this morning, Bertie Co emergency services are utilizing Viper FOXTROT 3 for search and rescue, medical and shelters

I heard them yesterday doing check-ins on Statewide Calling as well.

They got a little mad because they were calling the Eastern Branch Counties and Watauga County answered up.

They were told they appreciated the check-in, but they wanted the Eastern Branch Counties only.
